5. We envision our members and friends living out Christ's command to serve others.
We see:
• People, whenever humanly possible, following Christ's example of working to alleviate human grief, loneliness, and physical suffering in a spirit of acceptance and unconditional love.
• Our members and friends sharing their wealth to diminish the human hardship found in such circumstances such as homeless-ness, children and families at risk, poor health and housing, and more.
• Our members and friends, in response to God's love, caring about others and doing something to help them, thereby demonstrating the Good News of Jesus Christ's love to all people on earth.
