Support for UNI Students from Rwanda
CHCPC has had the unique opportunity to reach around the globe to touch the life of a wonderful young woman from Rwanda.  In return, our lives have been profoundly changed.  Nadine Ishimwe is now a sophomore at UNI.  In 2006 CHCPC answered the call to provide the financial support to bring Nadine to the United States.  We have since helped with tuition and other expenses.  We have been blessed to watch her learn and grow. We are excited to have the opportunity to do this again.  Nadine’s sister, Diane, joined her in Cedar Falls December 18, 2008, and CHCPC played a pivotal role in funding her move to the United States. She has begun her studies at UNI with an intensive English language program. We are blessed to provide the financial support Diane will need for her studies.

Diane and Nadine, (left, right below) younger sisters of Nancy Ishimwe, are both students at UNI. Shown here with Nancy, now graduated from UNI, all three women have received financial support from Cedar Heights Presbyterian as they left Rwanda to study in Cedar Falls. The sisters recently led an Adult Forum class after Sunday morning worship.
