- Volunteers are always welcome to help operate the sound board on Sunday mornings, both services.
- The first service (Traditional) Sanctuary Choir invites anyone who loves to sing to join them in worshiping God through song on Sunday mornings. The choir will start rehearsing for the fall season in late August. Come out and support our new director by offering your voice in service to God.

- CHCPC will help the House of Hope's Salad Luncheon Fundraiser on Friday, September 17. Those helping may sign up in the Commons.
- CHCPC helped in a recent Habitat for Humanity work project led by Sue Joseph. To view recent photos of this project, go to our photo gallery, click open the Adult Mission Photo Gallery, and see those who worked on the home.
- Volunteers are always needed for the Meals on Wheels program. Watch this space for information for the month of August.
- Volunteers are needed for the next Community Meals program on September 21. Sign up in the church Commons. Meals are served at the First Methodist Church, 7th & Washington Streets, in Cedar Falls.

- Frequently a member or friend of CHCPC needs assistance with such things as a ride to a doctor's appointment, getting groceries, etc. Call the church office at 268-0153 if you are able to help.

- The Mission committee reports that CHCPC collected 532 pairs of shoes if the "Soles for Souls" program. Alexa McNally won the contest by guessing 570 pairs! Congratulations, Alexa! You know your shoes!
- Our children and youth faithfully support the international Heifer Project.
