To join with our youth to develop an energetic, mature and enduring faith in Jesus Christ.
Cedar Heights Youth Vision Statement
- To create an environment that is Christ Centered and appealing to youth.
- To build a group that is accepting of one another, where they will feel comfortable and make friends for life.
- To rely upon the adults to be living examples of what God’s love truly means and what that love can do for them in each of their personal lives and in Cedar Heights Church.

- To remain Christ centered.
- To have a relational ministry that is safe and affirming through service and missions both locally and beyond.
- To promote active learning, grounded in faith.
- To provide opportunities for our youth to be transformed in meaningful activities beyond our weekly events.
Our Goals and Objectives
- To reach out to youth who are not active in youth programs.
- To continue to build within the existing programs but also evolve into new programs that meet our youth’s needs.
- To build on our C3F logo, that we are a “Christ Centered Circle of Friends.”
- To provide the best adult advisors in a safe and comfortable environment where all youth are welcomed.
- To utilize the gifts of our youth in the areas that they feel most comfortable.

Educational Hour (Sunday Morning) |

On Sunday mornings between services, junior and senior high age youth meet in the youth room on the lower level. Classes are Biblically based with an emphasis on real-life issues. |

Wednesday evenings the junior highs meet from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

- Youth Sunday services

- Girls and Guys night out (dinner with leaders)
Summer programming During the summer we participate in a number of both enjoyable and meaningful activities.
- Great Escape, organized and presented by Youth Conference Ministries, is the “Best Show on Earth” according to our youth. We spend a week at Green Lake, Wisconsin, where we worship, listen to national speakers, sing praises with Christian rock groups and participate in some of the most extreme games on earth. - The 2011 Great Escape will be July 11-16. Please mark your calendars now!
We also do multiple day trips:
- Lost Island Water Park
- Adventure land Amusement Park
- Goofy golf / Go Kart
- Bowling
- Movie night Lock-ins

In addition to meeting Sunday mornings, the senior high youth group, known as C3F, (Christ Centered Circle of Friends) meets Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the lower level youth room. We enjoy topical discussions and games, combined with food and fellowship, making this an enjoyable evening for senior high students and their friends where they can come and be themselves.
Local, national and global missions are a significant part of our ministry. To date our mission trips have included work in Staten Island, New York; Denver, Colorado; Northern Minnesota; St. Louis, Missouri; Mexico; and Copperhill, Tennessee.
